Breakfast was the real standout for us, with an excellent spread and top quality. I’d bet it’s hard to beat at other Riads. We broke up our October 2025 road trip from Merzouga to Fes with a night in Midelt, and Riad Villa Pomme d'Or worked out perfectly. The room was very comfortable, and the property felt quaint with a touch of luxury.

We had a lovely stay in this charming house in a great part of Midelt. The manager and staff were particularly pleasant and helpful, and made the visit feel special. Dinner there was nice, too. Parking is on the street, but there are cameras and security. We were very happy here and would recommend it.

Our room had a separate sitting space, which we really liked, and the riad’s dining room felt cozy and welcoming. The service was wonderful. The shower was very small, but otherwise everything was good.

Dinner and breakfast were included, and both were lovely. The beef tajine was amazing, breakfast was generous and delicious, and fresh orange juice came straight from the machine to our table. We got a warm welcome with tea, dates, candies, and almonds, while a fire crackled in the reception area. Our heated room was on the main floor by the dining room, overlooking the pool. It had a large sitting room with two couches, then a bedroom with a king bed and a good-sized bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The people were lovely, and it’s a great place to stop on a long drive between destinations. A walk around nearby was interesting, but the town itself is mostly a way station rather than an attraction.

The security guard even cleaned our bikes overnight without being asked, and breakfast by the wood fire was a nice touch. We had a comfortable room with distinctive decorations and a lot of personality, and the food was excellent. Reception and service were attentive and friendly. A fantastic place to stay, highly recommend. Five stars.
