Hotel Nassim

The front-of-house team made a great impression: they were fantastic, friendly, professional, and ready to help. Hotel Nassim is a lovely place to stay, with spacious, very clean rooms.

I was in Casablanca when I tried to book this hotel for the next part of my journey in marrakech. The booking app reserved the wrong dates, which I noticed in the confirmation email. I called the hotel right away, but the receptionist hung up when I couldn’t speak the language. I called again and asked the hotel where I was staying to explain that I wasn’t even in marrakech yet, the dates were wrong, and I needed them changed. The hotel had already charged my card the full amount. They told us to contact them through the app or email, then hung up. I sent multiple emails through the app and their website and tried calling several times. When I reached casablanca, the hotel management there also tried to reach the Nassim front desk. They spoke with the manager on duty and booking reception, but we were just passed around. Nobody helped or seemed to try. It’s now november 4, and the booking was back in october 2025. No one has contacted me or replied to any email. I never even got to stay there, and they kept my money. I did everything I could to get in touch. This was a waste of time, with poor communication, unprofessionalism, and unethical business practice. I recommend staying elsewhere. The booking platform they used made the error, not me.

The room was cleaned every day, with fresh sheets, and it was surprising how late in the afternoon the cleaning staff could still get it done. We came back at 5 PM and, after only half an hour out, returned to find everything in pristine order. They seemed to work around the clock. During our 10-day stay, we were lucky to get the largest room, which had a balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with things like finding taxis and booking restaurants. Nassim Hôtel also has a fantastic location close to everything in Marrakech. It left a lasting impression, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it as a quality place to stay.

The location was quite convenient, but at a similar price I’d tell young travellers to consider better places. I stayed for three nights, two in a double room and one in a suite. Maybe these rooms are meant to be classic, but my wife called it “the most trapped accommodation in our trip.” There were lifts, a classical hairdryer, a bathtub, and spacious rooms. But neither room had cup sets or an LCD screen television, even though Agoda mentioned one in the suite. The double room also had no fridge. A lamp there was broken, and reception said it was “a decor.” That left the room too dim. The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up, so I had to hold it to pee. The air conditioning was old-fashioned too. When I brought back takeaway for dinner and supplies from the supermarket, the receptionist warned me they had room services. But I couldn’t find a hotline note for reception or a room service menu in either room. I may expect too much of 4-star hotels, but compared with another 4-star hotel in Tangier, I really don’t know how this one got its stars.
