Breakfast was a mess, with a chaotic dining area, dirty tables and chairs, and food that tasted stale. There was little choice, and what was available was poorly prepared, not fresh, and disappointing. The room was just as bad: dirty floors, an unkempt bathroom, and hair on the sheets. I felt disgusted and uncomfortable throughout the stay, and left with a lasting bad impression. If cleanliness, decent food, and a pleasant meal matter to you, I’d strongly advise finding somewhere else.

The worn, moldy pool beds and smoking in the bar lounge, where the sofas look like they belong in a den, made the place feel pretty tired. Dinner was so-so. The corridor was noisy, and my room had an ashtray and smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom wasn’t clean, the sink plug got stuck, and the showerhead leaked. I was glad to leave.

I left and found somewhere else after seeing the room. The furniture was old and basic, and the air conditioner was an old, very noisy unit. With my children, I asked for another room, but the receptionist said no. There were electrical wires sticking out of the plug.

The staff are very good, and there’s a nice swimming pool, but there’s no wifi in the rooms. It’s a simple hotel that needs some renovation, and it’s not really four stars.
