Riad Nashira & Spa

Riad Nashira & Spa looked even more impressive in person than the online photos, which hadn't exaggerated a thing. The design and furnishings felt like something from 1001 Nights. Tarek, the Riad Manager, and his friendly, attentive, professional team made the whole visit special. The concierge arranged our airport shuttle, excursions, and tickets reliably, and we could get quick help on WhatsApp whenever a spontaneous question came up. Breakfast was à la carte and delicious, from fresh orange juice and pancakes to homemade orange and strawberry jam and eggs made to order. Ismael gave us especially attentive service in the mornings. Chef Abdel spoiled us with creative, beautifully prepared meals, while the service stayed discreet and thoughtful. Barchef Abdel made excellent drinks and snacks, whether we were by the fireplace or up at the rooftop bar with its jacuzzi, loungers, and breathtaking view of the snowy Atlas peaks. After our outings, the spa was just right for relaxing. The massage was wonderful, and Majda deserves a special thank you for her golden hands. We can recommend the riad wholeheartedly and are sure we'll be back. Many thanks to Tarek and the whole team.

The rooms were lovely and cozy, and everyone made us feel welcome. Staff remembered our names and made sure we had what we needed, whether we were heading out or staying in. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed breakfast, a lovely lunch, and dinner on the roof at sunset. Each dish left us full but wanting another bite. Chef Abdel clearly cares about his guests and makes sure the food is top quality.

The calm inside the ryad is such a nice escape from the busy old medina. You can walk to the sights easily, with Ben yousef Madrasa and the Marrakech museum only about five minutes away. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and there's an outdoor pool, rooftop jacuzzi, and spa. We tried the classic hammam and loved it. The staff were friendly, helpful, and happy to suggest places to visit. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with fruit salad, bread, pancakes, pastries, plus your choice of eggs, yoghurts, drinks, and more fruit. It isn't a buffet, which I liked. A really memorable stay, thank you!

The staff were friendly and the service was good, and the place was clean. Breakfast was quite basic, though, and I had to ask a couple of times to get the sheets sorted because they kept putting the top sheet over the blankets. The Medina location wasn't my favorite, since it wasn't in a busy area. We spent New Year's Eve here, and the DJ kept the music blasting until 1:30am. Only a handful of people were dancing, while everyone else at the hotel was kept awake.
