The care from the staff is what made our stay so memorable. We arrived late at night and they had made dinner especially for us. When my youngest daughter became ill, unrelated to the hotel, everyone was attentive, prepared separate meals for her, and stayed available whenever we needed them. Faouzia, the manager, was especially thoughtful and made us feel like family. We were there in the last week of July, staying in a former fortress converted into a boutique hotel. Kasbah Agafay keeps its traditional Marrakech character, with fountains in the courtyards, colorful lounges, carpets, and hand-painted ceilings, while still feeling comfortable. The pool is huge and sits among gardens and olive trees. Having breakfast beside it, with plenty of fresh choices and a personal touch, was a highlight. It’s also well placed for outings, from sunset camel rides and desert quad biking to day trips in the Atlas Mountains. Kasbah Agafay felt like a stay full of beauty, hospitality, and Moroccan character. We’ll be back.

Once a ruin, this quintessential Moroccan kasbah has become one of Marrakesh’s most charming, authentic luxury boutique hotels. Everything was perfect, and I’d absolutely recommend staying. Thanks to Kenza and Abel for such a warm welcome!

From the monogrammed linen to the lovely meals, everything felt considered. They even prepared special plates for my vegan husband. The rooftop view of the Atlas Mountains is jaw-dropping, and breakfast overlooking the huge pool was generous. The staff went out of their way before and during our stay to meet our requests. My husband and I settled in quickly, thanks to a warm welcome from Laurent, the manager, and his assistant, Omar. The surroundings are sumptuously authentic, our bedroom was spacious with beautiful antiques, and the bathroom was so large you could park two cars in it. I’m a pretty discerning traveller and can be hard to please, but Kasbah Agafay was phenomenal. It was our favorite of the three hotels we stayed at around Marrakech, and we’ll definitely return. Thank you!

The kids could wander and play safely in the beautiful grounds, and they made memories here that will last a lifetime. The gardens and flowers were stunning, the views amazing, the rooms beautiful, and the food delicious. We felt so looked after, like family, and it was hard to leave. The place is close to the Agafay desert and its fun, and also close to Marrakech, yet far enough away to feel completely peaceful. We were lucky to share our stay with other lovely families and people. Thank you Fouzia and team for a wonderful visit.

We loved unwinding by the pool on the comfortable double loungers, and the traditional local dishes were delicious. They clearly went the extra mile to find fresh local produce and cook it well. The hotel is luxurious, with great facilities and very welcoming staff. It’s far enough from the city to relax, but still easy to get in, and the staff gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. I’d recommend a stay here to anyone.
