The cooking class was a highlight for us. Amanda, a friend of the hosts, and a local woman showed us how to make chicken tangine, Moroccan salad, and bread for dinner. Dar Tassa also has a wonderful setting, and Brahim and Andrea made the hospitality feel personal. Brahim grew up locally and returned with his partner to open the inn. He’s clearly proud of both the place and the village around it.

Andrea’s Reiki sessions were a lovely extra during our night at Dar Tassa Mountain Retreat, part of a hiking and yoga holiday with Yoga Natur. We found the rooms, gardens, and terraces beautifully cared for, with the terraces great for yoga or just unwinding. The mountain views are stunning, the food was delicious, and Brahim and Andrea were wonderful hosts. We’d happily come back.

The rooftop room felt like a penthouse, and staying there was such a treat. Dar Tassa is a lovely place if you’re looking for nature and inner peace. I came away feeling it had been a healing trip. Brahim and Andrea, the owners, really pay attention to the guests and make sure people are having a great stay. Brahim is also a coffee lover and connoisseur, so you won’t miss out on quality coffee. Thanks to you both. I’ll be back soon. Top guys!

We loved the terrace, especially the views over the valley and the distant mountains. The village is high up in the mountains, and Brahmin gave us an interesting tour through his family village. Andrea’s food was very good, particularly the salads, and we enjoyed watching bread bake in the fire oven. The valley is still recovering from the earthquake a few years ago, and it’s good to see how resilient people are. The stars at night were amazing.

From the moment I arrived, the owner, his wife, and the staff made me feel like family. My room was clean and comfortable, and the Moroccan food was delicious. Dar TASSA, in the Atlas Mountains, made for a wonderfully peaceful break. The hospitality is something special, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet mountain retreat.
