NJ Hotel Rabat

The rooms were clean, and the hotel was pretty decent, but service was poor. Staff couldn't understand English, and when I asked for a three plug/extension, I was told it wasn't available and I'd have to buy one outside. Breakfast choices are limited too.

My wife and I keep saying NJ hotel is our place in Rabat. The staff brought such positive energy, and the service was wonderful. Thanks so much to Hind, Jawad, Mound, and Hasna, and compliments to housekeeping too. I'd give them 100 out of 10 :-) 100%!!!!!!!

The staff were super nice, and it's a great little hotel. A couple of things in our room were awkward: coffee at breakfast cost extra unless you wanted instant, and the bathroom door was broken so it only opened from outside. Since there was no phone in the bathroom, being alone in there meant you could get stuck for ages. Apart from that, all good.

I've booked plenty of hotels through hotels.com over the past 10 years without trouble. This time I booked weeks ahead with free cancellation and payment at the hotel, paying extra for that option. Three days before arrival, the hotel emailed to say my booking was cancelled, with no warning or explanation. I checked my junk mail too, and the hotel's own site showed it was still open but booked out on my dates. Hotels.com confirmed the hotel had cancelled and said they'd ask why. A couple of days later they apologized and told me the hotel wasn't answering their questions. I'd provided my credit card details, including the three digits on the back, and followed the usual booking steps, as I have with many other hotels without issue. I later saw other reviews describing the same problem, so I wish I'd checked first. Be careful booking here: a late cancellation without notice, explanation, or apology could leave you paying much more for somewhere else.
