Radisson Blu Resort, Saidia Beach

The spa made my stay especially relaxing, with a calm atmosphere and high-quality treatments. My hotel stay was excellent: the room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were welcoming and professional. Highly recommended.

The resort’s location and animation were things I loved. The food, clean room, and pool were good too. The staff were professional and helpful, especially Mr. Mounir, who was welcoming and easy to reach.

I’m staying here now, and a few things have made the experience disappointing. The food was good, but cleanliness and service need improvement. Staff behavior at the café or bar can be fine at times and unpleasant at others, with gestures or attitudes that can make it seem like they’re asking for extra money. In the room, there are insects, and housekeeping is inconsistent: towels are changed some days but not others. The corridors and toilets by the pool are often dirty and in poor condition. Mosquitoes and flies are a serious nuisance, making it hard to sit, eat, or even sleep in the room. We expected better, and hope management improves both service and cleanliness.

The mold in the rooms is the biggest problem. It looks like the hotel paints over it instead of fixing the leaks in the walls. That’s unsightly and a health risk, which should never be part of a five-star stay. Room placement matters too: one side is relatively quiet, while rooms near the entertainment stage get loud music until midnight or later, making restful sleep impossible. The staff work hard to clean, but guests leave so much trash around that the place often feels unpleasant. Mosquitoes are another issue, and simple in-room plug-ins could help manage them. The guest behavior also affects the atmosphere. Many people are disrespectful in public areas, especially at meals, making things noisy, disorderly, and stressful. That isn’t the staff’s fault, but the pressure from difficult guests seems to wear them down, and their frustration comes through in some interactions. The activities are a mixed point. It’s good that the hotel puts them on, but lunchtime shows with d9ay9ia made it hard to eat in peace. I appreciated events being scheduled later at night, when guests could enjoy their meals without so much noise. I’m struggling to understand the five-star rating. The staff deserve credit for their patience and effort, but the noise, mold, guest behavior, and general environment made this a poor choice for a calm vacation. I won’t return. Best of luck to the staff, they really do have a hard job.
