Domaine de Tameslohte

The gardens, grounds, and pool are beautiful, and the staff were friendly and efficient. We came for lunch and a day by the pool. The steak was fine and the salads were delicious, though the chicken was undercooked, which made lunch disappointing. The owner's unfriendly greeting when we arrived and again when we left, nearly rude, put us off. That cost the place two stars and missed the chance to bring us back as future guests.

I spent three nights here across two stays, a week apart, and would happily return to Marrakech. It’s quiet and peaceful far from town, unless the rooster wakes you at daybreak. JC and Maryam are very friendly and accommodating. The pool was great and open at any time, though its lights only stay on until around 11 pm. Meals were enjoyable, with a small menu that changes every day. The hammam, sauna, and massage services were well worth the 700DR. The hotel can arrange a private car downtown for 150DR to 200DR, depending on the driver. My room was spacious enough, but the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and the towels felt more like scrubbing pads than the soft, absorbent ones I expected at such a nice place. I’d stay again, but would ask for a different room in hopes of a better bed.

It’s a nice place to stay, but I wouldn’t recommend eating there.

I spent a day here, and you won't regret coming. 🔝🔝🔝
