Hôtel Afoulki

For 170 dirhams, it's an acceptable option if you're trying to save a little, though I expected more and wish I'd paid extra for one of the hotels near the roundabout. The location is a reasonable walk from the CTM station, but it's away from everything else and there are closer choices. The room was basic but had what I needed: a bed, chair, small desk, nightstand, closet, and small TV. It and the bathroom were very clean, the sheets were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The woman at reception was sweet and spoke a little English. On the downside, the WiFi kept dropping and was weak, the shower hose was cracked in several places so water sprayed everywhere instead of coming out the end, and there was no hot water or elevator. The cafe noise went on until after 11 p.m. during the Africa Cup football games, though perhaps it doesn't normally stay open that late.
