Prestige Apart Hotel

The beds were the only comfortable part of our stay. We waited 15 minutes outside in the cold before a very unfriendly woman came over, acting as if she were doing us a favor. She handed us the keys without explaining anything. It’s an apartment, not a hotel, and it was impractical and not very clean. There was one tiny bin in the bathroom and no extra blankets or towels. Blinds outside the window made the place feel like a bunker. We eventually figured out they could be opened, but someone should have told us. If it had been free, all that might have been bearable. For a place we paid for, I expected more functionality, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Spend a few extra dollars for a nice room in an actual hotel.

The value just isn’t there, and I won’t be back. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out, the room had nothing “apart” about it, and the hallway and room door badly need upgrades. We had to ask bystanders where the “reception” was because the signs weren’t clear. It was 35C outside, but there was vodka in the fridge and no water. That felt like either a missed opportunity or poor service. They demanded cash at first, though to be fair, they eventually accepted a card.

The staff were nice and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here and have no complaints. A microwave in the room would be a nice extra, and a heads-up that there’s no elevator would help.

We were able to check in early, and getting in touch through WhatsApp was easy. The host was lovely. The rooms were beautiful, with a massive bathroom, and the centre was an easy walk of less than 7 mins.
