Villa Rossa

They took us in after a last-minute problem with another hotel, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is spotless, with modern fixtures and an older layout that works well. There are big rooms, wide halls, and charming sitting areas on the second and third floors. We booked a standard double, but it was closer to suite size. The bathroom alone would be as large as a whole room in Italy or France. It's on a quiet street beside a hospital, and ambulances only use their lights in this area. There's no elevator, and rooms are on the second and third floors, but a kind gentleman helped with our bags. Breakfast was included, and checkout is at noon.

A good option if you'd rather stay outside the town centre. The hotel is conveniently placed for the airport and main shopping mall, and it's good value. Breakfast covers the basics for the price, while the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

We'd happily recommend this place. The room was large and comfortable, with a great bed in room 17, and the furnishings were high standard. It was perfectly clean, the staff were friendly, parking was free, and breakfast was prepared with care. The hotel is on a quiet street and was easy to find at night in an unfamiliar city. A very good option.

Tatiana at reception was lovely, and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel itself felt a bit lifeless, though, and the breakfast choices were too limited. It’s also not in a great location.
