Apartments Venera

The Venera Apartments were in a good spot, quiet, and we could get everywhere on foot without any trouble. Our rooms were clean, the hosts were kind and helpful, and breakfast was tasty. I was very happy with the stay. Thank you! ❤️👌

The location was okay and the rooms had decent furniture, but they weren't cleaned well. There's no parking, not even on the road outside. Breakfast is limited, and you're stuck with the way the woman there cooks. If you don't like it, it's hard to find something to eat. They also seem seriously understaffed.

We had a great time at Venera Apartments and would happily return next year. The room was spacious, comfortable, superbly clean, and maintained daily by housekeeping, big thanks to Lida. It also had good air conditioning, a fridge, smart TV, and WiFi. The hosts were welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and the location is hard to beat, less than a 10-minute walk from both the center and the beach.

For vegetarians, the dinners aren't a good choice. You get the same soup as the meat eaters, which you may not be able to eat, and the main course with the meat swapped for a piece of cheese. Picture stewed green beans, potatoes, Balkan cheese, and cabbage. The owners can be tricky to communicate with, and you may have to repeat what you need. The location is far from the old town and the nice beaches. The nearest beach is somewhat dirty and has uncomfortable pebbles, though the more distant beaches are clean, with sand or tiny pebbles. Also, check which floor you're on: only the 1st and 2nd floors have been renovated. The 3rd and 4th are a dysfunctional retro disaster.
