The rooms are on the small side, but laid out practically, with air conditioning and cool roof windows in the ones without a balcony. Breakfast portions were small, though they topped everything up within seconds. The staff were so helpful and kind, giving us everything we asked for, even needles and umbrellas, and tips on where to eat cheaply and where it was worth spending more time and money. I was really surprised by how clean and nice this three-star hotel was. One of the best I've stayed in for a long time.

We could leave our rented scooter in the free parking area, and they let us keep it there even after checkout. There's a shady outdoor seating spot under a big kiwi and bougainvillea bush, too. A bakery and little convenience shop are nearby, and the beach is close. We also ran into a lovely long-haired calico cat every day. She's perfect. The staff were genuinely helpful. One even made us hot tea in the middle of the night when a storm caught us out. Our toilet had a small issue, but it was sorted quickly. We were four in a room that felt a bit tight, though it should be fine for two. There was a TV, fridge, and air conditioning in the larger of our two rooms. Our room and balcony faced a busy street, so opening the windows brought in quite a bit of noise.

You can walk to the sea in about five minutes, and the hotel is also close to the city center. Reception staff were warm and friendly. My room was cleaned daily, and the place was generally clean, though bathroom supplies weren't replaced very often. The rooms are small and dated. Breakfast had a decent range of savory food, but not much in the way of sweet options. Wi-Fi was slow, which seems common in many places in Montenegro.

The location is right in the Centre, which is great. The breakfast was okay, apart from the tea and coffee, which were just Nescafe. But the building, furniture, towels, pretty much everything is old, like a motel from the late 70s. It badly needs a deep renovation. At 17 euros a night I think it's overpriced for this kind of accommodation, 10-12 would feel fair.
