Apartments Kuljaca

I had a really nice six-night stay and still think back on it fondly. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. There’s no reception, though I often ran into the owner downstairs. The kitchen had pots, a frying pan, grater, strainer, knives (a bit blunt), cutlery, plates and a kettle. In the bathroom there was a hairdryer, toiletries, towels and toilet paper. The balcony had a table and two chairs, plus a trash can. I was surprised there wasn’t one in the room. There was an iron and ironing board, a sewing kit and guidebooks in the shared hallway. The internet dropped out now and then, and finding parking was difficult, so we ended up leaving the car a little farther away.

We were lucky to get a discount because it was the landlady’s birthday 🙃. The studio was spacious and spotless, with comfortable beds and everything we could need. There was good Wi-Fi, cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice terrace. The hosts were exceptional. Thanks for everything, highly recommend ❤

The price was the one real plus for us. These apartments are fairly affordable, but they’re outside central Budva. Local minibuses run reasonably often; in the evening, though, getting back means taking a taxi, and it’s a long ride. There’s no sign on the hotel, so it was hard to find. Our hostess didn’t seem to be expecting us, and the room hadn’t been cleaned. We’d booked a sea view but didn’t get one. The toilet door wouldn’t close, the knives were dull, and there weren’t any sponges or oils. Small things, but frustrating. We didn’t see the hostess again after check-in.

The owner was so friendly and always available. The rooms were clean and roomy, with big, comfortable beds. It’s a quiet spot and fairly close to the beach. I’d definitely recommend it.
