Meridian Hotel

Our large family stayed in a huge 3 bedroom, 2 storey apartment, and the size was impressive. It had fantastic views from both balconies. The rooms, furniture, and equipment were a bit old, but clean and fully functional. It’s set up well for winter too, with heated bathrooms and radiators. The air conditioners were weak and need refrigerant refills. The mini-kitchen was stocked with utensils and pottery, and had an oven, hob, and large refrigerator, so there was plenty to cook with. I only wish there had been a microwave oven. There’s a nice small pool, usually empty, and towels are available in the clothes changing room. I didn’t try breakfast after hearing negative reviews, and I had plenty of food in the refrigerator anyway. Parking is on the rooftop with access from the highway. It’s paid at 20 EUR per day and needs to be booked, but it’s convenient, since there’s little chance of finding free parking elsewhere. Overall, a great place and recommended.

From the rooftop parking, which is easy to reach from the main road, each floor down leads to different parts of the hotel: rooms, restaurant, reception, and then a beautiful pool with a jacuzzi. A few steps further and you’re at the beach. The terrace looks out over Bečići and the beach, with stunning sunsets. The hotel owner welcomed me warmly and was very kind and helpful. The couple looking after breakfast were lovely and made each morning a pleasure. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great range from burek, eggs, milk, yogur, olives, and sweet pies to muesli, cakes, and more. It was all delicious. With breakfast included, secured parking, a pool, sea views, and the beach just 100 meters away, I had an amazing stay. It really made my vacation feel like a dream.

The private parking was a real help in busy Budva, and the room gave us a beautiful view over the sea and city. We found Meridian Hotel spotless, with plenty of space in the room. A kind Turkish woman at reception made the visit especially comfortable. She was polite, welcoming, and quick to help whenever we needed something. We had a fantastic stay and would choose Meridian Hotel again if we return to Budva.

Efa was the highlight of my visit to Marian Hotel. She was warm, professional, and so kind, and made sure I felt looked after. The whole arrival was easy and welcoming, and the hotel was well kept, with clean, stylish rooms and the amenities I needed. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend Marian Hotel.
