The sea view is amazing, and it was quiet at night, away from the noisy outdoor nightclubs across the bay in the old town. Reception staff were really nice. Still, for the €100 a night we paid, I didn't feel it was worth it. The rooms are tired and badly need some care. There are no shutters or blackout curtains, which I wouldn't have liked in the height of summer. Our room was split level, something that wasn't made clear when booking, and it felt extremely small and cramped. Breakfast was mediocre, with eggs the only real protein. Whoever was cooking couldn't even boil them properly, they were black inside and badly overcooked. Getting there is also an issue: it's a long, single-track road up to the hotel, and cars were parked in the passing places.

The staff were all so kind, and the barman even makes fresh orange juice and lemonade to enjoy on your sunbed. We had direct access to the ocean and spent the day swimming and sunbathing in that beautiful sea. The view from our room was stunning, and I only stayed one night, though I wish I'd had longer. One small heads-up: the road from the old town is quite narrow, so hopefully no car comes the other way. It's about a 5-minute drive, and worth it!

The gardens are immaculate, and the setting is really picturesque. There are lots of steps because the place is built right into the side of a cliff. The pool is nice, but the private beach was amazing, so we spent all our time there. We stayed five nights and never left. We'd planned a day out but gave up on it because we were having such a relaxing time. The food on site was very good too: we had lunch at the bar every day and dinner at the restaurant once, and it was excellent. Fantastic location, highly recommend!

Our studio apartment was comfortable, with a nice view and no complaints. Breakfast had plenty of options, and it's a convenient walk to the old town with good parking facilities. The gardens, pool, and sun lounger deck and bar by the sea make for a great setting. Reception and maintenance were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout. The two barmen seemed bored and less friendly, perhaps because it was still early in the season. I saw the owner speak to them about it on our final morning, so hopefully that improves. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in Ulcinj.

The views were incredible, and the location is perfect, within walking distance of town. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, and even the owner checks in to ask how things are going. Breakfast was awesome, and the pool and bartender were great too. Great margs! I definitely want to come back.
