Casa Bianca

Avoid this place. We arrived at Casa Bianca at 3:30 pm, although Booking.com said check-in started at 2. No one was there, and we hadn’t received any check-in information. We spent over 20 minutes looking around before a confused woman came out of a unit and asked who we were. We explained that we had a reservation, but she didn’t know about it or recognize us. She called her son to check, and once he confirmed the booking, she took us to the room. It was up four flights of steep stairs, and we were told nobody could help with our very heavy bags. The room was sweltering, literally over 100 degrees. The actual bedroom had no AC unit, only the living area did, and we saw several bugs flying around. By then, I knew I didn’t want to stay, so we said we were leaving and asked for a refund. We were put on the phone with her very rude son, who screamed at us and told us to contact Booking.com. He said that since it was a “casa,” we shouldn’t have expected help with our bags. We left within half an hour because the whole experience had put us off, and contacted Booking. Casa Bianca then lied and reported us as a no-show, even though we had definitely arrived.

The rooms were cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. The pool, rooftop, and view made for an unforgettable stay. I couldn’t have asked for more!

The owner and his family were so friendly. What an amazing place. We highly recommend it and are coming back next year!

The owners were kind and helpful, and the apartment was really nice. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the wonderful view. There’s a swimming pool with background music, as well as a rooftop terrace. I definitely recommend Casa Bianca.
