A busy market area is fairly close, so getting through it by car in the morning can be chaotic. Apart from that, this is a great-value place near the airport, about a 20-minute drive away, and the price includes a one-way shuttle. The owners were really friendly and happy to help with anything. Our room was clean, spacious, well air-conditioned, and looked out over the rice terraces. Service was great, and the food was fresh and tasty, though it could have used a little more salt.

A lovely garden and pool make this small, family-run hotel feel peaceful and well cared for. The restaurant has a nice range of good dishes, and the hotel is just 15 minutes from the airport. Good value for money.

We started our Madagascar travels with one night here and would happily come back to Antananarivo to stay again. The airport pickup was arranged for us, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful with all our questions. Our spacious, clean room had a terrace looking over the rice paddies, and the air conditioning worked well. Dinner was really delicious: we had lamb and potatoes and prawn coconut curry. The waitress was attentive and spoke lovely English. Breakfast was great too, and I enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool before we set off again. Definitely recommend it.

The rooms were spotless and nicely presented, and the airport location deserves five stars. But what I’m especially grateful for is how Fortuna helped us after our flights to Nosy Be were unexpectedly cancelled. The rest of our two-week holiday could have been ruined, but she helped rearrange things and salvage the trip. Thanks to her, we went on to have a fantastic, memorable time.

After more than three weeks on the road around Madagascar, we spent our final night here and got a comfortable, restful stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and our super-clean room had strong internet and a great view across the fields. Definitely recommend it!
