Our room, part of a family house, was good, and the staff, including the guardians, were friendly. The location is quite far from the city centre, though it worked for me since I was coming from the south. At night there was almost nowhere to get food, just one nearby Pizzeria. Despite the large restaurant, which wasn't open, breakfast was poor. On a weekend night it was noisy, with a karaoke bar only two blocks away.

The staff are very welcoming and kind, but there are major issues with the family villa that need serious attention: the paint needs redoing, the bathroom needs restoration, the linen should be replaced, and the screws need checking. It could be an appealing place, but the karaoke across the street runs seven days a week, and the capital's chronic southern traffic jams also seem like a barrier to attracting guests. It's a shame, unless they make a real, thorough effort.
