Last year, 2024, it was perfect. This year I found bedbugs, and they bit me all over after we paid as soon as we arrived. The bathroom was terrible too. The place should be closed for a while so it can be fumigated and the neglected bathroom maintenance can be done before it reopens. I can't recommend it to anyone.

We felt at home during our three days here, and we'll definitely return. The hosts were amazing, friendly and forthcoming, and the sitting area under a vine covered roof is lovely.

The mattress was good, the place clean, and the location handy between the bus station and the centre. The host was helpful.

I was covered in bites that looked a lot like bedbugs, though there was no sign of them in my clothes or bag. I'll update if I get confirmation. It was fleas.

The staff were the best part, super kind and helpful. The price was very good for the location, and the rooms, kitchen and bathroom were all nice and clean. I can't recommend this hostel enough.
