Park Golden View Hotel

Our rooms faced the parking lot, and the interiors were bare. Each bed had one stained pillow and a matching blanket. The TV and lamps didn't work, and there were no basics like coffee supplies or bottled water. The hotel still uses old fashioned keys, and you have to lock the door from inside with a key to feel secure. In the bathroom there was no hair dryer, the toiletries were poor quality, and the shower was broken and visibly stained. Food served at the bar was well below average for a supposed four-star hotel. One elevator malfunctioned with my companions trapped inside. It was stressful and felt unsafe. It also seemed to us that the building was a mix of apartments and a hotel, which might explain the lack of proper hospitality standards. The only “golden view” we seemed to get was a glimpse of the law, and even that disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Book at your own risk.

The lifts were a huge problem. There are four, none of them working properly. Staff would power cycle them when they felt like it, and they'd work for about 30 minutes at best. Carrying luggage to the sixth floor was exhausting. Another guest was stuck in one for ten minutes before the doors finally opened, then checked out that day. He kindly let us leave our bags in his room so we wouldn't have to pay for another night while deciding what to do. When I complained about the lifts and our luggage, the receptionist laughed and said, “I nema da raboti” (“they're not going to work”). Our stay began with a booking mess. Our parents had booked three lake-view rooms in person for 13/08/25 for five nights, for ten people total, but when we arrived that evening, the hotel had no record under their names. We were given three other rooms for the night and told we'd move the next day. The next morning, the woman who handled the booking admitted the rooms our parents had been shown weren't available. When we said we were leaving, suddenly she said they could be made available. By then we'd had enough and left. The rooms we were first given were a disaster, and this isn't a four-star hotel as advertised. The place is run down and poorly maintained. A nonworking fridge had been removed without replacement. There was hair on the floors and in the showers, the shower base filled within five minutes when I washed my son, outlets were hanging off the wall, holes remained from old air conditioner installations, the blinds let light in, and a broken door between our parents' room and another guest's room was left wide open. It was dirty, dark, and they didn't turn the lights on, lol. We didn't know what to do with the kids running around and bed bugs, and wish we'd taken more photos. The food and service were just as disappointing. Breakfast was terrible. Dinner was warmed frozen food, and half the menu wasn't available. There was no toilet paper in either the men's or women's toilets, so staff handed me serviettes. TVs didn't work in any of the three rooms. One staff member got one TV working by taking batteries from the air conditioner remote, then told us to keep swapping them between remotes, lol. We stayed just one night and one day. Others we'd spoken with who had booked there also decided to leave that day. It was frustrating, very poor, and not worth the money or any more of our time. Definitely not a four-star hotel. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND PROPERLY INSPECTED.

After a long drive, we arrived to find bugs in our room. There was nobody working the night shift at reception, so we had to sleep in the infested room. We waited 45 minutes for food, and they served the wrong order. When I tried to complain, the waiter was rude and said there was no restaurant manager. Money wasted. Don't come to this hotel.

I picked this place while driving through. It felt like being in the middle of nowhere, right by the ocean. The room, the ocean, and the parking worked well. Food options and location were okay. At night, though, there were stray dogs around, so be careful if you go for a run, a walk, or take the baby out.
