Parking can be tricky, but speak with the hosts and they’ll help you sort it out. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Our ground-floor family room was spacious and looked over the pool, while the top-floor rooms have lake views. The pool was a nice temperature in early July and never felt overcrowded. The place is near bars, restaurants, the lake, and a supermarket, and it’s a 15-minute stroll along the lake to the old town. My wife and son stayed here last week, and my parents came the week after. We came from Australia and the UK, and had a great stay. The hosts were caring and couldn’t have been more helpful with our requests. If you need a kettle and tea cups, just ask.

The location is nice, but that’s about it. The woman at the front desk was unfriendly, made everything difficult, and wasn’t polite or customer-friendly. I won’t stay at this hotel again.

The pool and location are the main reasons to stay at Villa Jordan. It’s a basic but clean hotel, and the parking is a short walk away. It advertises itself as four-star, but there’s no food on site, no restaurant or breakfast, and no drinking water in the rooms or mini-bar.

The pool is small but clean, and the garden is even smaller. It’s near the beachfront, and about a 10-minute walk from the bus to the southern beaches. The restaurant areas are a 20-minute walk away, and most of the nearby restaurants aren’t very good. There’s no kitchen or kitchenware, so you’ll need to arrange your own breakfast. It’s in a peaceful neighborhood, with private parking nearby to keep your car safe. I booked a top-floor suite and got a fantastic view of Ohrid lake from a large private balcony. The rooms have modern furniture, and the beds are quite comfortable, a little larger and longer than usual, which is especially nice if you’re tall. Wonderful hotel and exceptional service.
