Stayed three days and slept really well, the beds were very comfortable. The room was big and clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice too, and the price was very cheap.

One night I got so frightened that I packed at 3 a.m., left the villa, and sat on a bench in the center of Ohrid until sunrise. Then I took a taxi and left the city. I can't recommend this place to anyone. In a week, the room was never cleaned; garbage was left to rot, there was dirt and insects, and the bed covers were stained. It ruined my vacation, an absolute disgrace. I think the owner should be arrested. I also felt there was no security, since anyone could take the keys and enter your room. I started having anxiety and panic attacks, dreaded the room and corridors, felt claustrophobic, and had nightmares. It felt like being trapped in a horror movie, just waiting to escape. The villa is 15 minutes from the city center, on a street I found very unsafe. The dark surroundings had run-down housing projects with graffiti, death threats, mafia messages, Nazi symbols, and more. I felt it was dangerous even during the day because of the people around, and especially at night, when you'd need to walk around armed. The one good thing nearby is a mini-market a few steps away. At first the welcome was warm, but that changed after I paid. I was given one of the best rooms, but then the nightmare started. The pool was freezing, like the Arctic sea, and the water came from a garden hose. The slippery floor had an area where water had seeped underneath, making it impossible to walk. I almost lost my life there, and there were no warning signs. You couldn't dive or play music above a barely audible level. Drinks and glass containers weren't allowed unless you bought the drinks there, and the same rule applied to food and drinks throughout the hotel. At night, if you got hungry or thirsty, you either stayed hungry or drank pool water, desperate times and all that. In the pool you had to stay still or staff would scold you and secretly film you, apparently thinking you wouldn't notice. I'll be taking legal action over that. There were no LED lights, exposed pipes gave it an unpleasant “rustic” look, and a construction site next door spoiled the atmosphere with noise and workers shouting. A few days later I had to move rooms without warning or explanation, despite having paid for the best room. I took the keys to the new room on the top floor, expecting the whole hotel to be luxurious. It was a real fall from the stars to the stables; the room looked like a barn. The air conditioning didn't cool, it only blew air. The bathroom flooded when used, and the room wasn't soundproof, so even whispers carried. The balcony was shared and faced the housing projects, in full sun. One window was at knee height. It was 35°C during the day, but I couldn't open it fully because I feared falling out. The pillows were terrible, the doors had holes, and furniture came apart at the slightest touch. We went without toilet paper for days because it was impossible to get any. At night the room was freezing, while the balcony was warmer.

I was there with a friend, and we liked our clean, nice room. The problem was all the dampness: our clothes felt wet the whole time, and the bathroom was SUPER humid too. Otherwise, I'd recommend the place :)

Good value for a budget stay in Ohrid. The hotel was clean and fresh, the service was good, and the pool was nice. It's on a quiet street, not far from the old town. Loved it.

The breakfast was okay, but water wasn't included on the menu. They also say the city center is close, though it's really a 15-20 minute walk. Parking was another issue: on the phone they said they had it, but then charged €10 a day. They said the rooms had AC, but ours was so weak it couldn't cool the room by even 2 degrees. For what we paid, the room wasn't anything special, and the beds were uncomfortable.
