Elizabeth House

The owner and staff were rude, and when my friend raised the problems, they yelled and argued with her. They still expected us to pay the same price for a much worse place. I had booked an apartment for New Year's Eve, but got a different one, with a different bed layout, old furniture, a TV that only partly worked, and no balcony. The listing showed a coffee maker, microwave, and washing machine, but none were there. The water heater was noisy and in the bedroom, with its switch in the living room behind the TV. I was quite disappointed. If you're thinking of booking here, I wouldn't. There are plenty of better places in the city, and this one shouldn't be on anyone's list.

The WiFi was awesome, and I felt right at home. I stayed about two weeks and am going back soon. The rooms are wonderful and the price is great. Skopje City shopping center is nearby if you want to shop. You can walk to the city center, or take a bus or car. I'd recommend walking or taking the bus since parking downtown is hard to find, though not impossible. Can't wait to visit Skopje again. See you soon.

The host was very nice, but breakfast was poor: scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, and toast. The rooms had very little equipment, and the parking was tight and inconvenient. The dining space is small and doubles as reception and kitchen.

My friends are staying there and have been telling me good things. They say the rooms are clean, the location is nice, and the service is decent. I'll update if I hear anything else.
