The room smelled extremely bad, apparently from the bathroom drain. The bathroom had a lot of broken parts, including a broken toilet seat held together with transparent "scotch" tape, as you can see in my photos. Wifi was very, very, very weak, and most of the time we had no signal. The TV only had a few local channels. We gave an exact arrival time, but nobody was at reception and the front door was locked. We had to wait and ask parking security to help us find where the receptionist was. Then, after all that, I found out in the morning that someone from the hotel had tried calling and texting me between 00:30 and 01:00, asking me to come outside because someone couldn’t get into the hotel. Maybe they’d rather disturb a guest than find out where their receptionist was. Awful experience. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

From our apartment, we had a nice view of the central square. The apartments are very close to the city center, and underground parking is offered at a very low price. They’re on the fifth floor of what looks like an abandoned mall.

The apartment was clean and nice, with a splendid view of the Samuil fortress. The old town is next door and gets quite noisy overnight. There were two TVs in the same room, but luckily one didn’t work. I also wish there’d been more than one chair. Even so, it was a pleasant stay.

Everything was within walking distance, and there was secure underground parking. The room was very clean and had everything, including tea and coffee. Excellent service and a perfect location. I’ll definitely use this place again.
