New Light Hotel

A good hotel in Dawei city. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean with no bad smell. Breakfast is available, though there isn’t much choice. You get a TV, air conditioning, and a cold shower. Nice place.

It’s a small, reasonably priced hotel with breakfast included. Rooms are clean and well maintained, with hot and cold showers, free WiFi, and a TV. Parking is limited. It’s not far from the airport or hospital, and there’s a small food stall across the street where you can get lunch or dinner.

Foreigners pay more here, from $28 and up. For $28, my room had air conditioning, a mini fridge, a desk, and a cold-water bathroom, which was fine in this climate. The WiFi was poor, but my room near the back was quiet. Breakfast was rice and beans with a fried egg, plus tea or coffee. For lunch or dinner, the nearby 3D Chinese Restaurant and Honey Bloom Cafe around the corner are good.

For 25000, the hotel is clean and pleasant, and seems worth the price if you’re looking for somewhere cheaper and clean. They provide good service and free Chinese tea at reception.
