Hotel Max Nay Pyi Taw

The prices felt fair, and the food was tasty without costing too much. Staff were warm and helpful, and the service was good. I’d stay here again and recommend it.

This was my first time at Hotel Max NPT, and I got a good first impression. I’ve stayed at their Novotel Yangon and M Gallery Nay Pyi Taw before. Max Hotels Group manages it. The gardens look good for morning or evening walks, with nice spots for landscape photos, and I enjoyed breakfast. My semi-D unit was spacious, and it was what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. It’s fairly priced, with decent rooms and good room service, though special needs may take a specific request. Getting to the local market, bazaar, and shopping centers is easy. It isn’t one of NPT’s top-tier hotels, but it works for a quick check-in or walk-in stay, and for longer visits too.

My room had two double beds and a balcony facing the highway. It came with coffee and tea, drinking water, a safe, cabinet, refrigerator, toilet accessories, and two pairs of slippers, one for the toilet. There was also an umbrella to use when it rains or it’s too sunny to walk to the dining area. The bathroom was a good size. The room was spacious, with facilities like those in newer hotels nearby, though I’d have preferred white lighting and a different or bigger table to make working there easier.
