The staff were attentive and kind, and took time to explain things I wasn’t familiar with. They also helped arrange boat rentals. I was comfortable during my stay, really enjoyed the food, and appreciated their hospitality.

The service was good, and we enjoyed dinner, although it was a little pricey. The grilled sea bass and butterfish were good. I wouldn’t order the lemon meringue tart, though: the crust and lemon filling seemed store-bought, the filling tasted nasty, and it came with whipped cream instead of meringue. We’d considered booking two or three nights to relax, but I’m glad we stayed just one. The hotel was empty, so its generator didn’t run until 6:00 PM. With it off all afternoon, the inside was dark and we couldn’t check out the facilities. After dinner, we found the bathtub dirty and the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. That was surprising in such a new hotel. We were tired and asked for a fan instead of having someone come into the room, but they had no fans and sent someone to fix the outdoor unit. It did end up working. The sunrise and sunset views are stunning. I wouldn’t come back, but if you want to relax and watch the sunset, this is the right place.

Our overwater bungalow, a deluxe room, was lovely. It was comfortable, quiet, and very peaceful. The location was incredible, and the staff were so friendly. The service was phenomenal.
