After a hike, they can offer medicine and painkillers. They’re really friendly and try to help with anything. If you’re unsure what to do on a trip, they can plan it for you, and they can also point you to a cheap Toke Toke price.

We had a clean, comfortable room, and the hostel is conveniently close to the bus stop. The staff were kind and always ready to help. Breakfast was generous, delicious local food, with a different creative spread each day. They arranged a great full-day tour of the caves for 7000 Kyats per person. You can rent a motorbike there too if you’d rather explore on your own. Free water refills were handy. I really recommend staying here.

They were kind enough to let us store our bags and take a shower after checkout because our bus wasn’t leaving until late at night. The Galaxy Motel also has clean rooms, a good location, and staff who were always helpful. They offer reasonably priced excursions and transport around the city, and breakfast was very good too. We had an excellent stay.

We got in around 2 a.m. and were greeted with big smiles and lots of patience. Our large private room was clean, with air conditioning and hot water, and cost 15 dollars per couple. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with veggie samosa, sweet cake, banana, and tea or coffee. The first floor is nicely decorated and has plenty of books to browse. WiFi was strong, and all the staff were helpful. The owner speaks excellent English and knows several languages. It’s in a very good location. One of our best stays on the trip so far, and we recommend it to anyone visiting this city.

The two tours we booked through galaxy were absolutely amazing and made our stay. The staff were really friendly, and the owner went out of their way to make us comfortable and help us get around. Breakfast was great too. Just expect a three-star-or-less sort of place, especially when it comes to the bathroom, and you’ll have a great time.
