Spring Lodge Inle

We spent four nights here and often chose the clean, refreshing pool over the very noisy lake. Free bikes made it easy to head into town now and then. The rooms are airy and spacious, with a proper bath, and the staff were wonderful about helping us. Since we're vegan, they arranged different breakfast options every day and brought fruit plates. When I got sick, they kindly brought ginger tea right when I needed it. We left with lovely memories and hope to return.

The staff made our Christmas stay at Spring Lodge especially lovely. Reception, restaurant and room service were all friendly and helpful, and we were brought complimentary afternoon tea on the terrace whenever we returned from a day trip. The traditional Burmese Christmas Eve dinner was free and delicious, and the food was so good we ate most of our dinners there. The new hotel has huge, high-ceilinged rooms that still feel cosy. It's a short bike ride or about a ten-minute walk to town, with bikes available free, and the hotel arranged our boat trip to Inle Lake. We spent four relaxed days here, the most comfortable part of our Myanmar trip. Thank you, Springe Lodge staff!

We ate here several times, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. I tried sweet and sour chicken, pumpkin fried rice with chicken, pumpkin cream soup, and steamed fish with lemon. Breakfast is included, a substantial continental spread, with a fruit basket each day and tea time too. The rooms are spacious, with comfy beds, mosquito nets, AC, a proper bath and a terrace. There's an outdoor pool and free WiFi in the rooms, restaurant and pool area. Free regular bikes and mountain bikes are available. The place is in a quiet spot just outside downtown, behind the Nyaung Shwe jetty for boats to Inle Lake. Staff and management are very friendly and speak good English. Definitely recommended!

The staff are friendly, helpful and speak English well. Breakfast is available early, with eggs and bacon made to order, and they can arrange tuktuks and boat trips. There's also a bar where they'll make cocktails on request. Spring Inle Lodge sits in a quiet area away from the busy city, though downtown restaurants and places to drink are close by. It works well for families, with separate small bungalows and a garden. The rooms are huge, with high ceilings, warm lighting, wooden decor, Inle Lake and everyday-life murals, canopy-style mosquito nets, and an extra single bed in a matching design. There's a balcony beside each room where you can smoke, though the rooms themselves are non-smoking. They also have bathtubs, modern fittings, amenities and WiFi throughout. The lodge encourages cycling into town and reusing towels and bathrobes. I wasn't sure what the front office could help guide guests with, as that part of my stay was left unfinished.
