The rooms are basic, but they had what we needed. Breakfast was varied and nice, served in a room with a fireplace, and they brought it out early for our trekking booking. The garden is very well kept, with lovely views of the mountains around Kalaw, and the staff were very nice, though their English was limited. It's a relaxing place. The drawback is the walk to town, where the restaurants and shops are, which takes a good 15-20 minutes.

When I'm in Kalaw, Morning glory feels like a second home. They used to serve breakfast, and the service and hospitality are top notch. They also preserve the local culture and prosperity.

I spent nearly two weeks here in August 2018, and the staff made the stay: so warm, welcoming, and professional. The place is very clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and it feels like a tropical paradise in Southeast Asia 😍. I love it here and can't wait to return!

We had a really good breakfast here, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel is a quiet, peaceful oasis in the Burmese mountains. Our only gripe was the shower in our room, which was REALLY slow. Still, they'd only opened four years ago, so that's understandable.

Breakfast is what really made this place stand out. The coffee was the best I've had at a hotel in Myanmar, and we loved the fresh fruit. The rooms are small, but the views are amazing. It's tucked away and took some searching to find, though our stay was well worth it.
