Friendly, helpful staff made this a good place to stay. It’s a solid budget option, clean, with good quality rooms, though they’re a little dated. Wi-Fi isn’t very fast, but it gets the job done. The food was basic and not especially cheap, so dinner might be better elsewhere.

The staff are friendly and the room service is good. Breakfast is good quality too, and the Wi-Fi speed is decent. It’s a very good hostel for an affordable price. I’ll definitely stay again on my next visit to Mandalay.

The rooms were clean, the staff were nice, and some spoke quite good English. Breakfast was average, and the dishes arrived cold. The hotel arranged our bus to Bagan, but I wouldn’t ask them to do that again. It was an old, dirty, smelly minivan without air conditioning, carrying local passengers and stopping constantly, including for smoking breaks. The trip to Nyaung U took well over half a day, even though the two cities aren’t that far apart. It was only about two dollars cheaper than modern JJ Express, which cost us 9,000 kyat each. A taxi to the three cities arranged through the hotel was also rather expensive at 45,000 kyat.

The breakfast was delicious, and there’s a nice rooftop dining area and a ballroom. They also have happy hour drinks. Rooms are spacious, especially the family room, while the bathrooms are ordinary. It’s an affordable hotel, though if you book in USD and pay at the property in MMK, the exchange rate may be a little higher than the normal rate.
