We paid in full about 15 minutes before check-in, yet nobody told us our booked room was unavailable or that the room type had changed. We only found out after arriving, and left straight away. Even then, the hotel took no responsibility for a refund or any other way to resolve it. The service was very poor, the staff seemed untrained, and management didn't take responsibility. Avoid staying here, or be prepared to take the risk.

We couldn't sleep all night because the AC wasn't working and there were so many mosquitoes in the room. The receptionist's attitude changed completely after we paid. Breakfast was okay, but some items came in small portions. One of the worst stays I've had. 😡😡😡

The standard room was a little small, though it had the facilities we needed. This is a new, very clean property, and the staff were always ready to help. Manager Mr. Thu was especially kind and paid attention to our food preferences. One of the better places to stay in the city.

The rooms feel new and are clean, the breakfast is good enough, and the price is reasonable. But the service from staff needs work, and there’s no pool. I also had to carry my own travel bag up to the room at check-in, since there were no bellboys. With better service and a pool, I’d give it five stars.

If you're having trouble finding a place to stay in Mawlamyine, this is a good option. The building is new, and the room was clean. Staff were friendly and kind, and I had no complaints about the quality or service. There are several price options, with standard rooms starting below $30. I'd stay here again if I return to Mon State.
