Myat Nan Yone Hotel

It didn't feel like a three-star hotel. The floor was dusty when I arrived, and the room seemed poorly maintained. The intercom didn't work, the TV couldn't tune in any channels, and the remote had no batteries. The cover on the electric kettle was damaged, which seemed like a possible safety or hygiene issue.

Myat Nan Yone Hotel has a peaceful setting and basic comforts, making it a budget-friendly option in Nay Pyi Taw. Some parts look worn and could use maintenance, and the Wi-Fi can be slow if you need reliable access. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the decor is dated and the furniture and fixtures could use updating. They have air conditioning, comfortable beds, and functional bathrooms, and are comfortable enough for a short stay. The restaurant serves local and international food that’s decent but not especially memorable. Breakfast is limited, though fine for a quick meal. The area is fairly convenient for getting to attractions and business centers. Check-in was quick, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout.

I was really annoyed by how they treated guests. They asked me to pay in advance at check-in, as if they didn't trust me to settle the bill when checking out, even though they had my ID card. The price isn't cheap, either, and the internet was terrible. I couldn't connect in the room or the lobby.

For the price, the rooms are wide and the breakfast is a good one, not just toast and coffee like at some other hotels. The staff aren't rude and greet you with a smile. Service isn't excellent, but it's good. The price is fair and not expensive at all, and it's hard to find a great hotel in this range. Totally recommend it.
