The breakfast buffet was nice, and we didn't mind that the pool water looked green. Our annex room was comfortable, tucked down an alley near the main hotel. The Wi-Fi connection and speed were all over the place, and laundry was very expensive since they charged by the item instead of by weight. Across the road, the "Mother" stall rents easy-to-ride E-bikes, like mobility scooters, and sells bus tickets.

The price was shockingly high for such poor facilities, and the lack of toilet shoes was a nightmare for someone germophobic like me. There was no Wi-Fi, the jacuzzi was broken, the room smelled horrible, and the dusty walls made the place feel filthy. The staff were unfriendly, and the terrible atmosphere really disrupted my Bagan experience. I was shocked by how nasty this hotel was. I really don't recommend it.

We checked in and were put in a small room down an alley, nothing like the main hotel. There was no safe, despite what the listing advertised, and the hotel wouldn't provide the room we had paid for. They said we'd have to pay extra to get one with a safe. The service was poor. I found another hotel and am disputing the credit card charges.

Read the reviews before booking, and don't rely on the Agoda photos. Only a few of the pool-view rooms are nice. The rooms in the building by the side road are more like backpacker accommodation, though they cost about as much as rooms at other 3-4 star hotels.

The pool water was green, and I wouldn't even dip my toes in it. The rooms mostly face the road, smelled strange, weren't clean, and had stained sheets. This place could be nice if it were looked after, but it isn't. It's backpacker standard at a 4-star price in Myanmar. Avoid it.
