Bagan Sense Hotel

We went to Bagan for a holiday and stayed at Bagan Sense Hotel. The outdoor pool looked like the photos, and it was large, clean, and warm, a lovely way to start the morning. The hotel is wheelchair accessible, and the buffet breakfast was very good. Our room was comfortable, clean, and smart, and the receptionist was friendly and extremely helpful. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom weren't great, but the hotel overall and the staff service were exceptional. I'll certainly stay here again.

We had dinner and lunch here on a few days, and the food was delicious with good prices. Breakfast was plentiful and good, too. The rooms are large and come with amenities, bathrobes, and flip-flops for both the bathroom and pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was refreshing after a hot day for me, though my wife thought it was too cold. Very good value for money, highly recommended!

The staff and rooms were good, and everything was clean. Check-in is at 2:00 PM and checkout at 12 PM. Smoking and vaping aren't allowed in the rooms. The hotel has a pool, Wi-Fi, ATM, and safe box. If the power goes out at night, the generator kicks in and wakes you up. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays they put on an unplugged show on the roof, with dinner for those who want to watch the sunset. E-bikes cost 12000 ks for a whole day or 6000ks for 4hours. The location in Nyaung-U is great for the Night market and temples. Breakfast is buffet when there are lots of guests, and a la carte when there are fewer; it tastes good and there's a good variety. One thing to know, there isn't a doctor connected to the hotel if a guest needs one, and they should have a medical box.

The ATM out front made it easy to get money, and the staff were very helpful arranging transport around Bagan and onward. It's a nice place with warm, kind service. The breakfast buffet was great, and the pool was a welcome way to cool down on a hot day.
