The staff were really nice and the room was very clean, but I was disappointed with our four-night stay. We paid 208$, including breakfast. After long days walking in Bagan, the very stiff bed didn't feel restful, and I wish it had been a bit softer. The shower was frustrating, too. We usually had hot or warm water, but it wasn't steady. I think they use gas to heat it, because every 40 seconds a burst of very hot water would come through, then turn cold for the next 40 seconds.

The hotel is new and well located, about 5 kilometers from both Old Bagan center and the bus station. But the service needs a lot of improvement. The internet connection was very bad, and the room door and restroom fan had problems. There were lots of mosquitoes and insects, even in the lobby, so although every room has a balcony, who would want to sit there and be bitten? Staff also forgot to make up my room. There's a bar, but I never saw it open.

The restaurant food was really tasty, and I recommend breakfast or dinner with the Bagan sunrise or sunset. I couldn't get enough of it. It's a very new, modern hotel with thoughtful details in the room decor and a Myanmar traditional atmosphere prepared for you.

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a new, clean hotel with good location, spacious rooms, and a layout that works well. Breakfast was very good, and our internet connection wasn't slow, so perhaps the hotel has installed a better line. Bagan hotels can be hit or miss, but I'd recommend this one for peace of mind.

Breakfast started at 6am, which was great since Bagan is best enjoyed early. The hotel was quiet, though maybe we were lucky, and we had a room on the 2nd floor. We really liked the room and its layout, as well as the garden setting. The staff were friendly, and management took time to talk through our issues. We recommend the hotel. I found the exchange rate unfair because it was set by the hotel group rather than the official rate. They do accept USD, and I'd advise paying that way. The transfer from the boat pier/jetty cost 7USD, which I later felt was too expensive for such a short trip. They arranged a tuktuk driver for a day in Bagan and said he spoke English, but speaking and communicating turned out to be different things, which made the day a bit disappointing. Luckily, we stayed for 3 days and found a better driver ourselves. I'd suggest doing your "homework" and finding your own driver. The floor could have been cleaned better, with hair and dirt left behind even after we checked several rooms before choosing one. I ended up cleaning it myself :/
