New Park Hotel

The garden was a great place to relax, and the rooms were comfortable and very nice. We had a really enjoyable stay at New Park in Bagan. The buffet breakfast was tasty, the location is convenient for the restaurant area, and the helpful staff always had a smile. You can also rent an e-bike at the hotel for a good price.

The bed was roomy and comfortable, and breakfast was good. The room could use a more thorough clean, especially around the walls and corners. It’s an okay place to stay, but they charged extra for just about everything, and often more than average, even a map. I’d do laundry and rent an e-bike outside the hotel, where it costs half as much.

Tucked a little away from the main street, this is a relaxed place with clean rooms and a friendly team. Breakfast was good, and you can arrange a bike or scooter rental and a massage right at the hotel. The WiFi worked most of the time, though it was slow.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and the room was spacious. The staff were really friendly and put together a hearty breakfast each morning: toast with jam, eggs, glutinous rice, watermelon, and bananas. You can rent e-bikes at the hotel, but I’d go to the stalls instead since the hotel’s bikes felt old and bulky.
