The manager kept saying it was mosquitoes, even after I pulled back the covers and saw bedbug droppings. I was bitten more than 100 times over two days, and they offered no compensation.

There’s nowhere much around, and the room is full of bedbugs. The owner doesn’t even know how to apologize.

The breakfast was really nice, and the room felt quiet and comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and hospitable. Definitely the best hotel in Yangon, I’d recommend it.

The location is the one real downside. It takes about 50 minutes to walk to the park, 45 to get to a decent gym, and 20 to reach the market. Still, if you’re traveling solo, enjoy walking, and want an affordable place that offers more than you’d expect, stay here. When I arrived, the price was a bargain. I got a very large room and breakfast included for under $15. This is my new favorite hotel. Not too bad...

The Chinese food is reasonably priced, and we often meet here with old friends. I recommend the mutton stew with white bread. There’s parking, and it works well for families. I can’t speak to the hotel itself.
