The location and the view are good. There’s a smell in the room that needs sorting out, and smoking in the rooms should be prohibited.

The staff are outstanding and quick to respond. The rooms are clean, the location is good, and breakfast is excellent. Food on the top floor is outstanding too, at a good price. This is an old hotel with a lot of potential if senior management would make some upgrades. The rooms, floors, and bathrooms need modernizing, and the elevator’s exterior glass hasn’t been cleaned in years. With those upgrades and better cleaning, this could be a five-star hotel.

The lobby restaurant is quiet and nice, with white tablecloths and a very neat, clean look. It’s a good place to chat, without noise and blah blah. The staff are friendly, human, and their smiles feel more real. The place is clean, down to earth, well run, and good value for money. If you want five stars, this isn’t it, but if you’re after a comfortable, clean, tidy place, it fits.
