Rest of the place is great, and it sits in a prime location. For around 20 dollars a night, this backpacker hostel offers a bed and breakfast. It has separate private rooms or spaces, which is a nice change from hostels where four or two people share one room. The entrance could look better, and the breakfast quality could improve.

The room is tiny, basically the size of the bed, but the price is much lower and the hostel is clean and well located. Getting around from here was easy, and the location is amazing. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The shared areas are cleaned daily, breakfast is tasty, and the shared bathroom is in good shape and usually empty.

The showers are great, though the breakfast is disappointing: just toast and bananas, and the tea is so strong it’s hard to tell apart from coffee. The hostel has a cool look, almost like an old prison. Rooms are cozy but very small, with the bed filling the space. Air-conditioning comes from units in the hallway, with small fans blowing cool air into the rooms.

The toilets, showers, and room were very clean, and the staff were lovely. The location is good too. But there wasn’t anywhere to hang out during our stay because the “common room” was locked. Other Yangon hostels at the same price have more room to relax, which this place really needs since the rooms are so small.

The owners are friendly, the place is clean and tidy, and the service is great. Prices are very reasonable, making it one of the best downtown Yangon options for budget travellers. The room facilities suit locals and foreigners alike. Everything was great. Thank you 21 Hostel ❤️
