A stay at Hotel Rangoon should come with common courtesy, good food, comfort, and thoughtful service, especially when people are taking a break from stressful daily work. Customer service has value in itself, and I’d expect the hotel to hold itself to a high standard.

We were able to sort out our currency exchange and SIM card soon after arriving, and checkout was smooth too. My friend and I stayed for three nights, and the place and staff were wonderful throughout. It’s about 19 minutes by taxi from Shwedagon pagoda, with a salon and a mall nearby. I’d strongly recommend staying here if you’re travelling to Yangon :)

Omega!!! You can watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the room. The rooftop bar at #The pier has good vibes. 2 Excellent 😉 One night, I dreamed about you along rangoon pier history. Rangoon Ghost ✊ 👁 👷💃🕺👼

The rooftop bar and restaurant are great, and the rooms, beds, and showers are nice. It’s an easy walk to Chinatown and 19th street, though downtown and the lakes are farther away. I’d give it 8 out of 10.

The rooftop bar is nice, and there is a security guard, but parking is limited. Some of the comments seem fake, especially the ones giving it five stars.
