We were disappointed every time we came, all three visits. The service was poor, and the staff didn't make the place feel welcoming or seem very nice. We waited 30-40 minutes for four coffees, then were told they had run out of ice and couldn't make them. lol

The tables made our New Year's gathering for eight uncomfortable from the start. They were so small that fitting plates and other basics on them felt like tabletop Tetris, and the cramped setup didn't match what we expected for the amount we paid. In this small city, places like this seem to put profit ahead of the customer experience. When I accidentally bumped a table, a small 20ml glass fell and broke. We offered to pay, but the manager became abrasive and confrontational, nearly turning it into a fistfight over the glass. I hadn't expected a confrontation like that on New Year's Eve. The glass cost 8 USD, which seemed excessive for such a tiny item and made me question what we got for our money. This was my second visit to Dostykh Coffee Shop, and I regret choosing it for our gathering. The manager's reaction made the whole experience feel even worse, as if our payment had covered an unwanted spectacle along with the celebration.
