Edelweiss Art Hotel

The taxi driver had to cancel and leave, so my friend, who was staying at this hotel, couldn't get her ride. I had ordered the taxi for her, and when the driver arrived, he waited outside for her. The owner came out and began shouting at him. Since the driver doesn't speak English, there was a misunderstanding, but the owner handled it aggressively, repeatedly hitting the car window hard enough to scare him. Later, I heard similar stories from other people about local drivers or residents being treated rudely. It left me with the impression that the owner prefers serving foreigners and treats Mongolian people differently. That's especially disappointing for someone running a business in Mongolia. Local people deserve basic respect too. I hope management reflects on this and improves how everyone is treated, regardless of language or nationality.

The hotel is in a quiet area, with two convenience stores nearby and a mall about five minutes away. It's a pleasant boutique hotel with a mini art gallery, and the staff are great and very friendly. There isn't an elevator, but the staff are happy to help with luggage.

Breakfast was amazing, with lots of variety, really tasty food, and good value for the price. The rooms are spacious, warm, comfortable, and have all the basics. It has a cozy, boutique feel. There's a sushi restaurant on the first floor, though I didn't try it. It says it closes at 10 pm, but the last order is at 9 pm. The service could be improved by giving guests a map of nearby restaurants, information on where to buy SIM cards, and help arranging taxis.

I really enjoyed staying here. It's a cozy boutique hotel, away from noisy streets but still close to major landmarks and shopping centers. The staff are very supportive. I just wish I'd eaten at the sushi restaurant.
