Lovely place with some nice shops, and the French bakery is awesome.

The rooms were all in bad shape. At first, the shower only gave hot water and the futon was damp. Moving rooms didn't fix the hot water, and the lights wouldn't work either. By the third room the shower was fine, but the futon was dirty and left my whole body itching. The TV and window were broken, too. At 2am the owner knocked on my door, then said it was their mistake. Nobody spoke English.

All night, karaoke was blaring from the first floor, and the administrator never mentioned it at check-in or gave my money back. The place is dirty, and it's not somewhere I'd expect to sleep. If you're willing to hand the administrator $34 and then search for another hotel in the middle of the night, Hotel Seoul is the place for you.
