Hotel Okura Macau

The attention to detail was everywhere. Room service came twice a day and organized our belongings, even adding wire straps to keep things neat. They noticed my slippers didn’t fit, even though I hadn’t used them, and brought extra-large ones without us asking. Each day we also got fresh fruit, including Muscat grapes. I ate three or four bunches over the week. The laundry team was incredibly fast and removed all the marks I pointed out on my suit, after three other places had failed to do it over the previous three weeks. Food was phenomenal, whether from the Japanese restaurant upstairs or in-room dining. The service from everyone was impeccable, and asking people to show a room key when entering late at night added to the feeling of security. This is worth every penny and our favorite hotel anywhere so far. We’ll most certainly be back.

The beds made for a great night’s sleep, and the service was top notch. The rooms are spacious, with a nice gym and pool on the 29th floor. Built about 15 years ago, the hotel has a timeless feel and is well maintained. The rooms have had a light refresh so they don’t feel too dated. I’d probably choose it as a middle-of-the-road option among the Galaxy area hotels. No complaints.

I’ve stayed here a few times and Val has always been so warm to me and my friends. On my last visit, 29th Aug 25, I got to the hotel around midnight and was waiting for my friends in the lobby. Sam came over with a bottle of water and asked if I wanted some. He was so attentive 🥰

The staff at Hotel Okura in Macau made my partner and me feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was warm and ready to help with a smile, and their hospitality made the stay comfortable and memorable. We especially appreciated the little touches from housekeeping: a fresh fruit platter each night, afternoon turndown service, and a room kept immaculate. The free minibar was replenished every day, and the other amenities added a real sense of luxury. Allyson and Adee deserve a special thank you for making the stay so special. Hotel Okura is a gem, and every detail felt carefully considered. I can’t recommend it enough and look forward to coming back.
