When I went back to the third party, I learned the hotel had decided to keep the full booking amount and wouldn’t cancel it. That’s not what the staff had told me in person. I’d gone to the hotel because I’d booked the wrong date, and we had a reasonable conversation in passable English. They said they couldn’t change the date but would refund me minus a small cancellation fee. The lack of honest communication and poor management really bothered me.

The bed made it hard to enjoy the city. It felt like sleeping on a plank of wood, maybe a box spring with no mattress, and I was uncomfortable all night. The duvet barely covered the bed and didn’t hang over the base. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the bed, which is a shame since I’ve found other budget places that were more comfortable. The front desk was friendly and very helpful. They moved us to another room when we noticed a stale smoke smell. The location was walkable, away from noisy areas, with easy bus and food access.

The rooms looked like their online photos. The staff were nice and the place was clean.

The room was decent and comfortable, and the staff were polite and understanding. Some people say the hotel is hard to find, but I didn’t think so. Follow the path, then look for a slight slope on your left that leads to the hotel. I’ll attach photos and a video to make it clearer.

It was inexpensive and fairly new as of 2023, with friendly service and a good location. There’s free Wi-Fi and a bus stop less than 200m away. The Ruins of St. Paul's are around 1km away, and Wynn is about 800m from the ruins, so both distances are walkable.
