The residence and its staff had such a welcoming, easygoing feel, which made a real difference after staying at a lot of other places. The location is great, with a stunning ocean view, and the rooms were good enough for us.

The sea and jungle views are absolutely stunning, and there's a great surfing beach nearby. Don't swim there unless you have enough experience and know how to handle underwater rocks, ocean waves, and RIP CURRENTS. The place is laid back and in a great area. A few things in the room needed fixing, but they were easy to sort out yourself or with help from the staff.

I've only been here one night, but I'm enjoying it so far. The hotel is quaint and set on a hill, with steps between each apartment. I hear breakfast is expensive, though I suppose that's to be expected.

A simple, lovely place to stay, with beautiful views and a surfing beach nearby. Fantastic swimming beaches and excellent restaurants are just a five-minute drive away.
