Central Valletta Townhouse

The furniture didn’t match the pictures, which must have been taken years ago. The shower screen was missing, so water got onto the floor, and the repaired bed was broken and creaked whenever we tried to sleep. The sofa bed had bugs that left bites all over my daughter’s body. The host lied about the facilities we’d asked about before arriving and didn’t seem to care about our experience. Building work went on from day one, starting at 7 a.m. every day for the whole week of our holiday and waking our young children. The host knew about it but didn’t tell us. A builder told us the building was managed by the same people and they were fully aware. He said the work could only stop if they told him to, otherwise he was on a schedule. The checkout cleaner told us the same thing. The place was dirty when we arrived, so my wife had to clean it, and there was only half a toilet roll. There weren’t enough utensils or seats for more than two people. We had just a two-seater sofa, and the rest of the family had to sit on hard, uncomfortable plastic dining chairs. Another guest had reported the wobbly leg on the dining table in 2019. The fridge wasn’t attached to the cupboard, so you had to put your fingers in the gap to open it. The appliances had the wrong plugs, and there were no adapters. We lost a lot of money, and our holiday was ruined. Avoid.

The place was filthy and unsanitary, with cockroaches and severe damp. Mold covered the walls, the air was hard to breathe and made our eyes sting. The address was wrong, and the accommodation wasn't what we'd booked. I wouldn't recommend booking through this accommodation company.
